The easiest, fastest way to create permanent traffic, lead flow, and income online is through article marketing. You may want to market your MLM business using articles, but have no idea how you can start. In this article, I wanted to give you a brief outline of how to begin using this strategy.

Why should you use article marketing for your MLM business?

Let’s start by covering the basic problems that most MLM distributors have when marketing on the internet. Essentially, there are two problems that most marketers face when trying to market their Network Marketing business on the internet. They are:

1. Most distributors simply have a poor lead capture page that doesn’t convert traffic very well, so most of the effort that they put into their business is wasted. Before you learn article, marketing, you need to have an effective marketing system in place if you don’t have one already. This article is going to assume that you have this set up, and move us to problem two.

2. When you have a killer landing page and a sales funnel that gets sales and signups from the most minute amounts of people possible, it doesn’t do you any good if you only get a couple of visitors to your website each day. The simple truth of the matter is that you need THOUSANDS of visitors to your site each month to generate the kinds of leads you need to be successful – this can be difficult and expensive if you don’t know what you’re doing.

This is where article marketing comes in. Article marketing is a free strategy that brought me 7,000 visitors to my last website within the first 6 ½ weeks of it’s existence. Now those results are much higher than typical, and I have a free video course on my website that I give for subscribing to my newsletter, but I was able to do that because of one thing:

Every day, I write ONE article, no matter what (even if I don’t want to), and I submit it using a planned process to a bunch of sites. That’s it.

Now I haven’t been doing article marketing for very long, yet I’ve already generated more visitors than 99% of everyone who ever markets their business in this way – and it’s because I wrote one article a day for the last five weeks. This is my article for today. Just yesterday, I wrote an article about a pre-launch MLM company. The day before that, I wrote an article about an MLM guru (I already have more than 300 views on that one).

I write ONE article per day.

Let me share one of my favorite quotes. I don’t know who the original author is, but I heard it a long time ago from a guy named Brad Duncan (who was rich out of his mind). Brad told me “I make the money I do because I do the simple, daily, consistent things that everyone knows that they should do, but nobody does, and I’ve been doing them daily for 20 years.”

It doesn’t take too much time research some quick keywords and write an article – in fact, half the time I don’t even do any research at all, I just do some quick brainstorming and write an article from my imagination. (Like this one – no keyword research was involved.)

The funny thing is, while all my competitors are looking for ‘the perfect keyword’, I’ve gotten more than 2,000 views on my main website in the last 30 days from articles that didn’t contain one smidgeon of research whatsoever to complete. They were concerning subjects I know a great deal about and I didn’t even bother to check if people are searching for them. I just took 20 minutes and wrote them up. I’ve gotten more than 50 leads from those articles alone.

So I have a challenge for you.

Everyone’s center of the universe is the same. Themselves. When it comes right down to it everyone is interested in themselves and what they can get. You must remember this when talking to prospects. They won’t join until you can show them how joining is in their best interest. If you want powerful network marketing leads you must determine what they want and show them how your buisness delivers.

When you are talking, the prospect will be thinking one thing. “How will my life be enlarged?” They don’t care about how much money you made. They don’t care how many associates the compay has. They really don’t even care about the product. The thought they are focused on is what’s in it for them.

When presenting your program remember the prospect is only wondering how it will bring value to their life. You wouldn’t purchase shoes unless you saw the value in them. That would be ridiculous. In this same way your Network Marketing Lead wants to see what value your business brings to them. They only want to to see how it will improve the life they live. Hit this idea and make it central to your pitch. Let them know what THEY can expect from the program.

That does not mean you try to make the MLM business something it is not. You need to use Hope not Hype. If you hupe people into joining you won’t build a successful business. This makes sense, when you cover things in sugar you eventually have the sugar melt and then your new member knows what the business is really about. Do you think he or she will be happy? NO. They will more than likely quit and tell everyone they know you are not to be trusted.

Hype doesn’t work. Instead of this, focus on building up their hope for a better future. Show them the hope for increased earnings. Help them to hope for a better lifestyle than the one they have now. People are magnetized by HOPE but are completely turned off by HYPE. Hyping works on the head but Hoping works on the heart. People are drawn to hope like a magnet. They want to hope for and believe in a better future for themselves and their families. Makret Hope instead of Hype to see your recruiting results explode.

Your prospects will recruit themselves if you can connect them to the hope that comes from the possibilities of your business. You can successfully recruit someone when you connect the hope in their heart to the outcomes that can come from your Network Marketing business. You can’t make someone become a successful member of your organization. Instead, you must show them how the possibilities of the business can fulfill their hopes and dreams. If this happens they will almost sign themselves. You do not need to do any selling. You can get the best MLM leads to convince themselves to join your organization.

Through your entire talk the MLM lead is thinking of one thing. How will this program increase my lifestyle. People are always looking for a way to increase their income. The average person does not want more money to put in the bank. Most people want more money so they can spend it. Find out what an increased lifestyle means to your prospects and then show them how to get it. You will get more business associates than you can handle.

There are many people in the world who work MLM Programs. There are literally millions of people who utilize this method of business operation to make a full-time income or in order to attain one. The MLM Business has certainly matured since the days of Amway or Shaklee.

With the advent of better technologies, namely the Computer and the Internet, there has been a proliferation of MLM Company startups. At first, this created extra opportunities for the average MLM distributor. Lately, however this phenomenon has hurt the MLM distributor.

On the surface it may seem that there are extra opportunities for the MLmer to prosper. However, under closer analysis what is revealed is a shrinking market for the average Mlm distributor. There are only a certain amount of MLMers available to be recruited into any opportunity. This number remains static or increases by a small percentage yearly.

The number of MLM company startups has increased at such an exponential rate, I wonder how any MLM company can recruit enough distributors to survive. What this does is create sales and marketing challenges the average distributor may be unable to overcome. It means that the marketing efforts of the average MLMer must change.

It is quite obvious that the MLMer must now consider expanding the available distributor base by bringing in new distributors from outside the MLM mainstream. This will require an increase in the amount of training or available information on the MLM Industry being made to the prospect. It is also time consuming but can be beneficial to both parties, since “relationship building” will again take center stage.

MLM used to be all about “relationship building”. It was the cornerstone of the Industry in the beginning and we may have to return to our “roots” somewhat in order to succeed. Today most people hide behind a lead capture page and a autoresponder, never speaking to their prospects. If you understand how important building relationships is, you understand MLM.

In order to survive, the average MLMer must provide the tools important to successful MLM operation to their downline. What this does is create a duplicable system. If you don’t duplicate, you die in this business. Using a duplicable lead capture system with a funded proposal opens up needed extra income streams for the beginner to survive those first few rough months. Do this and you will have a greater chance of success.

There is no other business like the MLM business. We are all attracted by the ability of the business to provide a residual income. If you don’t feel like working, you still make money. Apply the core principles of the Industry such as building relationships and teaching duplication, and you will be among the success stories rather than the failures.

Using MLM Systems the Right Way

Signing up for an MLM Opportunity can be exciting. The mind swirls with the idea of a large residual income and the ability to do as you please. Once this initial fantasy subsides you have some very important matters to consider.

Since the MLM business is built upon the idea of duplication, you must think about how you will recruit new distributors. A smart MLmer will also develop a means to sell the MLM company’s primary product. Even though many huge organizations have been built on product sales alone, most MLMer’s overlook this marketing method.

Let’s look at a simple example. Would you rather have 1000 distributors purchasing $100 a month in product or 300 distributors selling $700 a month in product? Since MLM commissions are based on volume and the 1st group’s volume is $100,000 and the 2nd group’s volume is $210,000, who made the most money? It is obvious that the 2nd group was more profitable. Don’t neglect product sales systems if you can find them.

What you want to find starting out in the MLM business is a duplicatable system anyone can use. This may take the form of lead capture pages, autoresponders and the messages preloaded in them, and of course, a reliable source of good leads. Hopefully you can get all these “tools” from your upline, since company created material is not the best available for you. Consider using a funded proposal system where you make upfront money and backend your primary MLM Business.

It is nothing new to use an MLM System to promote your business. Most of the larger companies and uplines have these available. How you use the system is what will make YOU stand apart from the crowd of the 1000′s of moneymaking offers available.

Let me give you an example of what one MLMer does to make over $1,000,000 a year. He uses the systems available; but he calls them and mails a postcard to his prospects. He only calls when he knows the prospect won’t be home and just leaves a generic message on their answering service introducing himself and his company. He signs up more people than you can imagine! He stands out because he uses 3 different ways to contact prospects: the Internet (using a lead capture page along with many followup autoresponder messages), the telephone and snail mail.

Since most people are ONLY using the Internet these days, why not consider standing out from the crowd yourself. Also use postcards and the telephone answering machine method. Teach your downline to do what you do, and you will see your downline grow tremendously.

Duplicatable systems can be rather “cold” and impersonal. It is adding the personal touch to any system which will make you a success.
