In our technologically expanding world, where the Internet is the most available form of media, Viral Marketing is an extremely effective form of advertising. Before the Web explosion, this form of advertising would have been referred to simply as “word of mouth” or getting your message out by having your customer base spread the word.
Why Use Viral Marketing?
There are several studies that state that if someone has a good experience, chances are they will tell a few close friends. However, with a bad experience people will repeat it to anyone who will listen. Since the pace of the Internet is so much faster than that of word of mouth, you will want to be careful with the messages you put out there. The message you put forth can spread, and spread quickly, whether that message is good or bad.

Operating a home business is seldom easy and interruptions come in all shapes, sizes and forms.
Between the family, friends and neighbors who call or come by, and the telemarketers who insist on ringing your number off the hook, getting through the workday can be a real challenge.
When you introduce children into the home office environment, your productivity and patience can be seriously tested.
For example, I remember how my three-year old daughter was pulling on my shirt begging me to read her a story. Clearly, I was in the middle of something important here, but how could I say no to those eyes? I’ll be right back…

In regard to making money on the Internet, everyone is always looking for the quick fix. They want to sign up for a program, place an advertisement, and make hundreds or thousands of dollars instantly. While this may be possible depending on your circumstances, the most direct and guaranteed path to success on the Internet is to stick with the fundamentals.
A friend of mine who is an athletic coach for kids in the city where I live reminded me of this lesson. This guy is actually so passionate about kids and athletics that he coaches 4 different sports: basketball, soccer, baseball and football. Of course, he has a kid of his own on each team. But what is remarkable about this guy is the results he gets with his teams.
He was recruited to coach the 8th grade football team where his children go to school. After 27 years of
losing seasons in a row, the first year my friend became the head coach the team won the district championship and repeated their championship run the following year. This past weekend he coached 12 different games and won all 12 of them. As you can tell, this guy is extremely dedicated.

How to make $1000 a month online from scratch – Part 7 of 8
Over the last 6 weeks, we’ve covered a lot of material. Most of it directly relates to attracting free targeted traffic to your new website. At some point, we need to turn the traffic into dollars.
In Part 2, I outlined the strategy for making this happen. As part of this strategy, I discussed a 3 prong attack for monetization. Those three prongs were:
1. Contextual Advertising
2. Affiliate Promotions
3. Own Product Sales

Are you a working mom fighting exhaustion from the everyday morning rush of getting ready for work just to sit in traffic? Feel guilty about not spending enough time with your children? If you are like most modern women, juggling the needs of your family and the workplace can be overwhelming. This is especially true if you are a single working mom who is supporting the family on one income. So, how does a busy mom go about making money?
The obvious answer is by working. However, it is more expensive to leave your home and go to work these days. Between the costs of work clothes, gas, lunches, day care, and car maintenance you are only left with just small change as a pay check. According to the National Child Care Agency, the average cost of day care per child is $200 per week. So if you are working 40 hours per week at $10 per hour, you really end up making $2.50 per hour. That’s an amazing $7.50 per hour taken away from you for day care alone. I won’t scare you with the average gas usage per week, but I’m sure you are fully aware how it affects your weekly budget.
So, how do savvy work at home moms earn a respectable living? Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit? Ever thought about a home business? Well why not join the ranks of telecommuters by changing that spare room into a home office. Becoming a self employed mom is easier than you think. Some companies now allow employees to telecommute from home a few times a week. But wouldn’t be savvier to work completely from home, make your own hours, and be the owner of your own time?
Home-based business opportunities are numerous. You could become a virtual assistant, a tutor, provide services out of your own home, or even do something more innovative like teaching baby sign language. You get to choose your own destiny! Not only will you be in business of being a mom; you will be a mom in business. Becoming a CEO mom is fun, exciting, challenging, and frightening all at the same time.
