A Great Way To Build A Money Making Internet Marketing Business
It sounds contrary to traditional marketing strategy, but believe it or not, you can make huge profits by giving away your eBooks for free.
That’s right, you CAN make money by giving away free products.
Here’s how it works. Create a quality product about a popular, in demand Internet marketing subject. The more in demand the product, the more money that your free giveaway can bring.
Create a website like this one to enable you to give away your free report, course or eBook. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, it only has to have a sales page to offer your free giveaway. In its simplest form, your website is the place where you’ll offer the free report, course or eBook, that you will either give away outright or send after the customer opt’s in to a mailing list.
The website consists of a Sales Page promoting your free product that
takes the customer to a squeeze page (where the customer must opt-in to receive the download link for the product) or directly to a download page.
Regardless of whether you require an opt-in before receiving the free eBook, the customer is always first taken to a One-Time Offer Sales Page where you offer a Master Resale Rights version of the product. Of course, the Master Resale Version is a product that you sell, but it also has some very distinct advantages over the “personal use only” free edition that you give away. When you offer a free course, you can offer the Master Resale Rights at the end of the course.
For example, the Master Resale version can be resold by the customer, allowing them to keep 100% of the profits from the sale. In addition, you can make the Master Resale version “rebrandable”, which means the customer purchasing it can “rebrand” the eBook or course with THEIR name, THEIR website URL and THEIR ClickBank affiliate ID.
If the customer declines the MRR offer, they’re given the download link for the free “personal use only” version of the product. In other words, they get the product absolutely FREE.
If the customer purchases the MRR package, they’re instead given a download link to a rebrandable version of the product and reseller package containing the website tools they’ll need to resell the product including a Sales Page, Download Page, graphics and any “extras” you choose to include.
I like to offer a “rebrandable” eBook with my LTQ’s because it enables the customer to not only resell the eBook and keep any profits from any sales, but it also allows them “rebrand” the eBook with their name and web address, and replace my affiliate links with their ClickBank Affiliate ID.
By making the eBook rebrandable, the customer is given a significant reason to not only buy the MRR package, but also to widely distribute the eBook (which retains at least one link to my website).
I get three benefits from giving away free eBooks. First, I get to make a potential sale of my MRR package, which I can sell for anywhere from $7.00 to $27.00 depending upon the quality and the demand for the product. Second, I have an opportunity to build my list by capturing email addresses and a name. Third, both the “personal use” and “rebrandable” versions of the eBook retain at least one link back to my website. The free version contains links to my affiliate products, potentially earning me back-end commissions.
The customer wins big-time too. Those electing to take only the “personal use” version get a quality eBook or course for free. In short, an LTQ creates the proverbial “win-win” for both seller and buyer.
So now you know how to give away one of your products for free and to benefit (and even profit) by the free giveaway. This is really a great way to market your products, and to build your reputation and credibility as a provider of quality products.
